On the second day of Paris Fashion Week I woke up to discover a spotless sky and sunshine, which came as a great surprise knowing the weather we’ve arrived to. I obviously it was all due to the canary yellow dress I worn the other day, I am pretty sure, it was the one attracting sunshine back to Paris. So, after I felt like my mission was successfully accomplished, I went back to my neutrals. And considering that the 2nd day of PFW week was the Chloé show day, deciding what to wear was a no-brainer for me.
I sourced this beige nappa leather coat two weeks ago in a vintage store and while all of my efforts trying to find its origin, season, decade, brand, whatever didn’t pay off, it has such a strong 70s bohemian vibe that I could easily associate it with Chloé. I mean, it’s almost hard to find the words to describe my admiration for it but seeing the way it turns about everything I wear in a super chic retro look is more than enough. I paired it with my brown leather shorts that has long ago earned my admiration and a lurex top in order to add some drama. Aside from all the compliments received that day, wearing this outfit was a sort of reassurance for me that 70’s is my favourite fashion decade. Give me more, give me more of those killer vintage pieces. Do you guys feel me?! Are you into 70’s too?
