And just like that, we are back to my Paris Fashion Week adventures and probably my most favourite outfit of them all. This metallic trench coat has officially earned to be the first on my “Best Vintage buys” list. I mean, I know that I have a pretty good hand when it comes to vintage shopping but this is just way beyond what I could ever imagine to find in a vintage store. And what a perfect timing, the day before we were supposed to depart to Paris, I realised that I didn’t quite plan any of my fashion week outfits and that I don’t even have enough clothes for all the days. So as I always do in these moments of sartorial crisis, I went vintage shopping. That’s basically how I ended up buying half of my Fashion Week wardrobe, including the gorgeous nappa leather coat that you all seem to like. But this metallic one is the true megastar. I’m not sure where my love for metallics came from, but it keeps on growing. I find that when you want to make your everyday uniform a little bit dressier or especially during Fashion Week when you have to make a statement with something bold, metallics are the best way to go. This is the kind of piece that you just kind of need to have when 80s are in their glory. Plus there is nothing that looks as good on a rainy Parisian day as this metallic coat on Pont Alexandre III, photos are here to prove that. So, what do you guys think?!
