When the going gets tough, put on a pair of red flared pants, is it what they say? Well at least for me it works. I just got back from Berlin Fashion Week which in two days soaked up all of my energy and this was one of the outfits I was initially planning to wear. In the end, one evening beforehand I realised that I have nothing to wear (this one is classic) so the idea of this look resurfaced in my head. Then it kept rearranging piece by piece. The location where we should shoot it and the little dried rose that will be a perfect prop and so it never really made it to Berlin. But I’m glad it didn’t. As usually I’m too much of a spontaneous type to plan my outfits ahead, I always end up figuring my outfits last minute. I guess, it’s all the fun in it. Isn’t it. So, I feel like this one really belonged to that particular day I decided to wear it and shoot it on that particular location and with that particular light. I just love the result way too much to torture myself of thinking that it might looked better. So now I tell you, there is nothing quite like a pair of red flared pants, a vintage lace top, Simon Miller bonsai bag and Balenciaga looking sunglasses thrown all together. It makes your mind wonder as it is neither a masculine nor feminine look, neither a bohemian nor minimal, it’s sophisticated…May I say that? And that’s what I’m always looking to achieve. What do you think?
