There is no better route than vintage when it comes to a perfect incarnation of a luxury piece. I said it before and I’m saying it now. If you are looking for a bargain that is of extremely good quality for a price you are paying and that also looks high-end, vintage is you way. Especially considering the fashion era of 70’s, 80’s and 90’s that we are in.
This white masculine blazer is one of my favourite vintage pieces to date and besides the fact that it has a perfect silhouette and fit, it also perfectly resembles the Céline one from the latest collection. God, I had a good gaze at that one. This is what probably caused my miraculous find at the vintage store. Once you focus on something, the Universe gives it to you. And everytime I’m wearing it, it makes me feel unfathomably like Lauren Hutton. What a statement, huh?! But it truly does, I feel so empowered by it and I do believe that everyone has to have these kind of pieces in their arsenal. If it makes you confident, buy it! No brainer.
After wearing it in more classical combinations, I decided to try something a bit different from the usual masculine blazer and classic pants combination. Plus, if there is something that could compete with this blazer, it would have to be that emerald dress that once again reminded me so much of Vetements. Its color, its sleeves, plus the padded shoulders are truly worth of poetry. Don’t you just love it?
