As CHANEL announced the launch of the spring/summer 2018 make-up collection for this January (watch out this space next week for the big reveal), I thought I might share some of the products from the current collection that impressed me to say the least and that I had religiously kept in my make-up bag.
CHANEL Pallette Essentielle// For a person who rather prefers a minimal make-up and a minimal space occupied by beauty products in the bag, this palette can be call a truly magical kit. This is about all you’d need to instantly look radiant even after 10h spent in front of the screen. First, and the most generous of the three, is a concealer, ”to use where you need it,” says Lucia Pica. She chose to make this the largest so that you could use it both to start the day and for touch-ups throughout. Next, a highlighter: an essential offering of pure, radiant light. The gliding, creamy formula leaves a delicate touch of luminosity on skin. Finally, a moment of color. A melting, creamy blush created to bring a translucent flush of color to cheeks and lips, creating a fresh and healthy look to the complexion.
CHANEL Retractable dual-tip concealer brush// A true favourite and the one I can’t praise enough for how handbag-friendly it is. I always had a hard time storing my brushes, not to speak of actually travelling with them. With a flat side at one end with which to pick up the concealer, and the soft tip at the other end with which to blend – this is the brush to have and to always cary in your make-up bag.
CHANEL Signature de Chanel eyeliner// You don’t need really need much to notice that I wear eyeliner on the daily basis and this Chanel intense black eyeliner is a true staple for my signature look.
CHANEL Les 4 ombres eyeshadow palette in Road Movie// The Palette I like to take with me especially when I’m travelling as it makes it so easy to switch from daily to evening look.
CHANEL Le Vernis in Horizon Line// With it’s soft greenish grey it’s became a true classic for me, which I’m sure you’ve noticed in numerous of my photographs as I’m wearing it almost non-stop. Neither too dull to go unnoticed nor too striking to be hard to combine, just a perfect amount of everything
