Jumping across the map to Paris and to our five days spent in the city of love almost two weeks ago. Our time in the city was simultaneously dreamy and sadly very fast-paced. But I should say we did enjoy it to the fullest and it felt like a breath of fresh air to be in Paris on another time rather than Fashion Week.
After an early train from Amsterdam I quickly changed into what seems to be an attempt on 80’s gangster masculine style but as I like to think a really good one and we headed to get our dose of Paris. But only in the late afternoon when I saw that balmy sunset light I truly realised how magical the city can be. This was the real Paris for me. Dressed in my checked vintage Escada blazer, Levi’s straight leg jeans, Paul Andrew pointed flats and my favourite fedora hat, I suddenly felt teleported to a movie somewhere in the 80’s. And as many times as I’ve tried to convince myself that eventually the magic of the city will wear off, Paris is here to surprise me. So, I’m pretty sure we will always have Paris to bring us the magic.
