Amongst many others, a big weakness of mine are vintage cars. So, besides my old dream of driving one around Côte d’Azur (still working on that), I’ve always wanted to shoot a 70’s inspired editorial with a car just like that and guess what?! When the least expected the stars aligned. We spotted this dream of a car back at Paris Fashion Week when we were walking towards Seine after a show at Palais de Tokyo. There she was, the car I always had in my mind in the most perfect shade of caramel. Should I even add that it all seemed to be as planned, considering that I was wearing this quite 70s inspired look (I’m stuck at this decade) in head to toe neutrals?! I swear, this was probably the speediest editorial we have orchestrated – hashtag dream work day.
Timeless and retro all at once, just the way I like it. And I just realised that probably the only thing that makes me sad about the warmer days at this time of the year, is that I will no longer be able to wear all of the cool leather coats and jackets I recently sourced in vintage. And until I’m not booking a tropical getaway I want to be wrapped up in this vintage nappa leather coat, just because it gives me all the feels and it looks so cool, that everything else I’m wearing doesn’t really matter. Perfect for all those days when you want to put your brain to rest, isn’t it?!
